Each of the MCViNE kernels above is also available as a process for the Union framework (chapter 12; see chapter A.5.4 for the concepts). They are used like the other Union process components: they are named in the process_string of a Union_make_material component, may be combined with other processes in the same material, and the resulting material can be assigned to any Union geometry. The parameters of each process are listed with the component below.
